Indoor Leaf Lab runs a houseplant care website and a Shopify-powered plant storefront. This page explains the information we handle and why. It is written in plain language for our brand and is not legal advice.

What we collect

• Email address - if you request the free 7-day checklist. We use it to send that requested guide. A checklist request does not add you to an ongoing marketing list.
• Order and contact details - Shopify and its payment providers process checkout. We may receive your name, email, order details, and support history so we can respond to a purchase question. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Essential site data - the shop may use a secure cart cookie so it can keep the items you add while you browse.
• Basic site analytics - if analytics is enabled, we may see aggregate page views and referrers. We prefer privacy-conscious tools where practical.
• Messages you send us - we keep what you write through the contact form so we can reply and prevent abuse.

How we use information

• Deliver the free checklist you requested.
• Answer support questions about the site or an order.
• Keep the shop, articles, and forms reliable and secure.
• Meet legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or record-keeping duties that apply to us.

We do not sell personal information.

Who else may process data

Providers that help us operate the site may process information to provide their service, including Cloudflare for hosting and security, Resend for requested email delivery, Shopify and its payment providers for checkout, and any analytics provider we enable. Their own policies also apply to their services.

Cookies and similar technology

We use essential cookies or local storage needed for basic site and cart function. If we enable analytics, it may use lightweight scripts. You can control many cookies in your browser settings, though essential shop functions may not work without them.

How long we keep data

We keep checklist, contact, and order-related records only as long as reasonably needed to deliver a requested service, answer support, meet legal or tax duties, and prevent abuse. You can ask us to correct or delete personal data we control, subject to those limits.
