Pinguicula crassifolia is a perennial heterophyllous species, it produces summer leaves from May to September, and winter leaves during winter. It was first discovered in 1976, but was confused with P. macrophylla, in 1988 it was finally described as a new species. The epithet, crassifolia is from the Latin crassus (thick) and folium (leaf), in reference to the succulent leaves formed during winter. The plants on the pictures are representative, you will get a similar plant. The plant has been growing under LED lights with a temperature of 75~80° during the day and 55~70° at night. The pinguicula will be shipped bare root in a plastic container to protect the plant, if you need soil please select the bare-root + soil option . We shipping plants Monday and Wednesday to avoid the weekend cut off.
